First Aid at Work Requalifying
The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Requalifying course is designed for individuals who already hold a valid QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (FAW) or an equivalent qualification and need to renew it. This course helps first aiders refresh their skills, update their knowledge, and ensure they remain competent and compliant with the latest first aid guidelines and techniques. Over two days, participants will review key areas such as CPR, the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), managing bleeding and wounds, treating fractures and injuries, and responding to medical emergencies. The course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and aligns with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Assessment is carried out through practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice exam. Successful candidates will receive a renewed QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work certificate, valid for another three years. To enrol, participants must already hold a valid FAW qualification.
